Origin’s range is useful because different rooms demand different compromises. A family room may benefit from a pivoting three-way ceiling speaker aimed toward the listening area. A minimal interior may need a speaker opening that visually relates to a four-inch downlight. A formal space may justify an invisible solution. A garden needs controlled dispersion and low-frequency support placed within the landscape.
Davis Audio & Video does not select those products from a catalog in isolation. We consider ceiling height, listener position, construction depth, lighting layout, surface finish, amplifier power, bass strategy and service access. The result should sound intentional and look as though the technology belonged in the architecture from the beginning.
Origin speakers can form part of a Sonos-based whole-home system, a traditional matrix-audio design, or a dedicated theater. The control platform and amplifier are selected around the experience rather than forcing every room into the same topology.

Rectangular architectural speakers using proportions intended to integrate cleanly into walls. They can support distributed audio and media applications where a rectangular format aligns better with the room.

Director models use pivoting assemblies so energy can be directed toward the listening area. That is valuable when architecture fixes the ceiling location but the audience is not directly below the speaker.
Ceiling details can be coordinated
Minimal Opening products provide a smaller visual aperture, helping speakers align with downlights and other ceiling elements. The benefit is greatest when the reflected ceiling plan is coordinated early.
Bass does not have to be an afterthought

Professional design
Architectural speakers require architectural coordination
Ceiling speakers compete for space with framing, HVAC, sprinklers, lighting, shade pockets and millwork. A premium speaker placed against a wall because a duct was discovered late will not perform like the drawing intended. We coordinate locations, verify cavity depth and document prewire before finish work.
Pivoting speakers add capability, not permission to ignore layout. Aim can refine coverage, but the loudspeaker still needs a sensible relationship to seating. Likewise, a small aperture or invisible product solves a visual problem only when its back box, finish and service strategy are respected.
Outdoor systems are designed as an acoustic field. The LSB64, for example, combines a buried 6.5-inch subwoofer chamber with above-grade midrange and high-frequency elements and an acoustic-lens approach for 360- or 180-degree coverage. Placement and orientation should follow the use area and property boundaries.
