POWERNODE sits between a stereo amplifier and an AV receiver. It combines speaker amplification, BluOS, local libraries, HDMI eARC, a subwoofer path and app control in one chassis. It suits a living room, den, primary suite or listening space where performance matters but visible equipment should stay limited.
N331 drives stereo speakers at a published 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, or left, center and right speakers at 80 watts per channel. Supported wireless rears and PULSE SUB+ can create a focused Dolby Digital system without wiring every surround position.
POWERNODE has one HDMI eARC connection rather than an AV receiver's source inputs, and Bluesound lists Dolby Digital rather than Atmos or DTS. Davis Audio & Video confirms the TV, sources, speaker load and format needs before specifying it.

HDMI eARC accepts audio returned by a compatible TV. Sources normally connect to the TV, which must send a supported format. N331 decodes Dolby Digital; Atmos, DTS, multiple direct HDMI inputs or more wired channels require an appropriate receiver or processor.
BluOS depends on the network. POWERNODE offers Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi 5, with wired Ethernet often preferred at a fixed location. Firmware, drivers, accounts, HDMI, wireless bonding and Dirac licensing are commissioned as one system.

How many speakers can the current POWERNODE power?
N331 provides two channels at 100 watts each or three LCR channels at 80 watts each into 8 ohms. Compatibility still depends on the speakers, room, wiring and listening goals.
Can POWERNODE create a 5.1 system?
Bluesound describes three wired front speakers, supported bonded wireless rears and PULSE SUB+ for Dolby Digital 5.1. Davis Audio & Video confirms compatibility and room suitability.
Does POWERNODE support Dolby Atmos?
No. N331 supports Dolby Digital, not Atmos or DTS. Broader formats, more wired channels and several direct HDMI inputs require an appropriate AV receiver or processor.
Can I connect an Apple TV or game console directly to POWERNODE?
No. HDMI eARC accepts audio returned by a compatible TV. Sources normally connect to the TV, which must pass a supported format to POWERNODE.
Can I connect a turntable to POWERNODE?
