I put out feelers to a number of audio consultants. Davis was the second to respond, and communication was quite nice and swift. I had him and another company come to my home; one company said they don't do residential and the other never replied (probably for the same reason). Davis told me they don't typically do residential, but they'd take on this project.When Dave came to my house, he brought an acoustic expert who did a number of sound tests and based on the delays of the reflections could pin point exactly which surfaces were causing the horrendous echos. The rep brought samples, and Dave got back to me within two days I believe.Dave's quote wasn't the cheapest, but I chose Dave over the other company for a few reasons because price isn't everything:1) The panels they chose looked phenomenal. The competitors panels simply didn't look as nice.2) The rep did measurements to ensure we were putting panels exactly where they needed to be. The other company just "it sounds like it is coming from x, y, z."3) The panels where much higher performance. The other company would only install 1" panels. Dave's panels were 2" and had the same performance as the other companies 3" panels (I had them send me their catalog of panels)!4) Dave was much more pleasant to work with.I would higher Dave again and would recommend him to anyone looking for acoustic treatment. He got rid of the echoes in my house, and it now sounds like a recording studio! The project was completed on time, the panel installation looks so good--it is literally laser precision. The installation took 4 days, the installers were incredibly nice and nothing was broken or damaged. They were very careful about not damaging the floor when installing the panels on the ceiling.I am glad I went with Dave as I don't think I would have grown to dislike the panels of the other installer as none of the colors felt quite like they would match, and I don't think their installer would have put nearly as much attention to detail into the work.My ONLY complaint was that I thought a 75% down payment was excessive. All the work I had done on my house remodeling has been 50%, but I was spending 100% when it was all finished anyway so it really didn't matter.

The staff where professional, easy to work with, and did an overall fantastic job on our install. We are very happy with the results and David has been very quick with resolving minor issues.

Strongly recommend Davis Audio and Video 5 star+-- Team was very knowledgeable and responsive and we are very happy. Needed full renovation of legacy Control4 install (A/V, Security, Lighting, HVAC) that had several issues. They gave us very balanced advice and options that simplified our setup but delivered better experience and we are very pleased. Davis Audio & Video installed the speaker and mics for our Pilates studio with very high ceilings and just over 2,000 sq ft of space. We had some challenges with not being able to hang anything from the ceiling but they worked around it and the sound is great, the mics are very clear and instructors are easily understood. They also were able to work around some scheduling issues. Highly recommend.

David Mandel and the team at Davis were top notch. They sought to understand my exact needs, figure out how to work in my 100 year old building, re-use what I had that worked, and get everything installed and working correctly together. I initially talked to another provider who gave me 15 minutes of their time and an exorbitant bill for things I didn't need and missing those I did. Now I have the best of both worlds: a modern audio & video setup in a vintage setting.

Dave, Mike and the team did a terrific job. They were always communicative and didn't hesitate to go above and beyond, stay longer than planned or work a few odd hours to get the job done, while meeting my needs exactly. They were a pleasure to work with along the way, stayed true to the (reasonable) estimate and gave me plenty of options to choose from to suit a range of budgets and feature sets. Dave was great serving as point person, and Mike is incredibly knowledgeable about the technology. Excellent quality and service. Team worked with us to get the right home theater system selected for room and price. The install team was great and worked out a way to install using existing wiring and drywall openings. The team at Davis also followed up to make sure everything was working appropriately and quick to follow up and fix some settings we requested to be changed once in use. Great job David and team.

I highly recommend Davis Audio & Video. We hired them to help with our home theater installation, home network, Sonos system and TV installation throughout our house. The theater they designed and installed is amazing. They programmed the Savant remote to make it super easy to use. They even integrated the lights in the room. Also, they upgraded our wifi, which we were having lots of issues with. After Davis Audio finished, the wifi was fast and flawless. They installed Sonos throughout the house and mounted TVs that we purchased from them in our kitchen , roof deck and home office. David, the owner and salesman was professional and helped guide us on what we needed in the house. The installers, Mike & Emir were fantastic and super knowledgable. The entire process was easy and enjoyable.

I was having some issues with my sub-woofer, DVD player and remote control unit. Davis Audio was able to come out quickly, diagnose the exact problem and replace the parts needed in an expedited fashion. They kept me up to date of where everything was at in the process and cleaned up everything before they left. They also made sure everything was in working order before they departed and that I knew how it worked. Greatly appreciate and great job. Would recommend.

Davis Audio/Video did a pre-wire and install for me in an older condo I was renovating Fall 2018. They wired several rooms for A/V, installed speakers, provided equipment and set me up with wireless network and a complete Sonos system. They were wonderful to work with during all phases of the project. Their pricing was reasonable and accurate, the installation went extremely smoothly. Their techs are professional and neat. I've had my system for one year now and it has worked perfectly with no need for tech support or additional service calls. I highly recommend them for any size installation. A+

We had such a great experience with Davis Audio & Video. We worked with the team to install TVs and a Sonos based speaker system throughout our new home. In addition, the team set our house with Control4 for future expandability.The team is highly professional and thorough. We could not be more pleased with how are residential installation went. We will certainly be working with Davis when we look to further expand our system.

After several years of frustrating service from another company I contacted the Control 4 customer service desk. I was referred to Davis Audio. Zach Davis has changed my life. He provided the exact service I asked and recommended cost effective changes I had not thought about. This is the first on-line review I have ever written. Several years ago I had David and his team of engineers install an audio and video package in my home that included in wall speakers on 4 floors, flat panels, a rack system, wireless streaming, etc...I have never had a problem with anything they have installed - it was setup perfectly at implementation. Even when Comcast destroys something David is quick to respond, day or night, to ensure everything is fixed.I cannot speak highly enough about Davis A/V - you simply cannot go wrong working with them.If all companies adopted the same customer service philosophy as Davis A/V (in addition to technological proficiency, which is beyond reproach) the world would be a better place.Using someone else for your A/V needs is ill advised. In fact I am looking for a new home currently, and without hyperbole I can guarantee that I will work with David & co moving forward.
